Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (URJC) which is a public research university founded in 1996. It is named after King Juan Carlos I (“rey” means “king” in Spanish.) As of 2015, it is the second biggest university in the Community of Madrid with 39,134 students, a staff of 1,400 faculty members and additional 610 administrative employees.

URJC is divided into several campuses. The main one is located in Móstoles, a city 20 km southwest of Madrid. The other campuses are located in Madrid (Vicálvaro and Argüelles), Fuenlabrada, Alcorcón and Aranjuez.

The conference will be held on Móstoles campus of URJC, which is shared by the High Technical School of Computer Engineering and the High Technical School of Experimental Sciences and Technology. The most characteristic building is the cube-shaped Rectorate (“Rectorado”), which hosts the university headquarters, and the circular-shaped Auditorium. The campus Library (“Biblioteca”) is located next to the Rectorate. There are three Classroom buildings (“Aularios”) and three Labs (“Laboratorios”), grouped two by two. The faculty offices are located in the two Departmental buildings (“Departamentales”). Finally, the Technical Support Centre (“Centro de Apoyo Tecnológico” or “CAT”) hosts some high-performance facilities, such as a virtual reality cave, a computer cluster, microscopy laboratories, etc. The campus also includes an administrative building (“Gestión”), two cafeterias (one next to “Aulario II”, the other one located in the Libray building), a bank and sport facilities.

The “Aulario III” building will host all the presentations, poster panels and coffee breaks. Lunch will be served at the cafeteria located next to “Aulario II”.
